The SLA system utilizes an ultra violet laser directed onto a vat of photo-curable liquid resin.  The laser is passed over the resin in specific patterns hardening the resin layer by layer until the prototype is completed.  Once the printing process is finished the excess resin and support is washed away.  The model is then UV cured and hand finished to perfection.

In order to meet the stringent requirements of our clients, Source Graphics partnered with Formlabs to bring in house the latest and very best in SLA 3D printing and rapid prototyping.  We are able to offer high accuracy and an ever expanding variety of material options.


Our SLA prototypes are not limited to one off parts.  We can offer short run production parts with a wide variety of finishes available.  Parts can be sanded, primed and painted or even used as master patterns for casting.
